Welbeck Street car park was designed by Michael Blampied and Partners in 1971. The unique structure which featured diamond-patterned facade made up from prefabricated concrete was denied listed status by Westminster Council and was demolished to make way for a ten storey hotel. Illustrated in our signature style we were delighted to be able to preserve the building forever and highlight the true beauty of the structure. Our Welbeck Street Car Park print is part of a series of open edition prints which celebrate the many forms of architecture which co-exist within the London urban ecosystem.
