Our Values
From the very beginning, here at JANDO we wanted to ensure that we were adopting the most sustainable and eco-friendly practices within our business. Our core principles of quality, authenticity, and integrity guide everything we do from the work we create to the way we interact with our customers, stockists, friends, family, and the wider world. It’s also why all our products are designed and made right here in our Dublin studio.
When it comes to the environment, we want to make sure that we make the most responsible decisions we can at all times. Although our business deals in paper-based pieces, we have taken cautious measures when selecting our materials.

We became a B Corp to hold ourselves accountable and to build a business that’s a force for good. Find out more here.
100% Irish
All of our materials are sourced locally from suppliers within the Republic of Ireland.
Our Paper
Our paper is either recycled or sustainably sourced. Our greeting cards are printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified heavy weight card. Envelopes are made from 100% recycled paper.
Our Inks
We use only water based inks which are chemical free and are less harmful to the environment.
Our Packaging
Our packaging is 100% plastic-free, even the protective sleeves we use for our prints are 100% biodegradable and made from corn starch.
Our Frames
Our frames are handmade locally using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Our Fabrics
Our tea towels and tote bags are made from 100% Fair Trade organic cotton.

Adopt A Tree With JANDO
We embarked on a partnership with Mossy Earth, a team restoring nature and fighting climate change, who work closely with SMEs to help offset their carbon footprint. They carried out a full sustainability audit on JANDO, giving us the tools to measure and offset our carbon footprint.
In year one, Mossy Earth planted 50 trees on our behalf.
This was enough to fully offset our carbon footprint from the previous year.

Once your order ships, you will be provided with follow up information about your sapling including when and where it’s been planted and even the GPS co-ordinates so you can go visit!
