Known as One Kemble Street and CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) House depending on who you speak to but it will always be the Space House to us.! Designed by George Marsh who also designed the nearby Centre Point. The cylindrical shape of the structure was chosen in order not to block the light of the buildings in the surrounding streets. Space House was listed as a grade II structure with Historic England in January 2015 securing it’s future on the Camden skyline for many years to come.Spacehouse is a part of JANDO's "Concrete Moon" collection. The series aims to reintroduce, recontextualize and reawaken our relationship with the so-called “architectural monstrosities” that blight the urban landscape.
