A total PINCH US moment! 🤏
It feels a bit mental even typing this, but last week we spent a few amazing days in Paris screen printing at a private event beneath the Eiffel Tower!!!!
We haven’t posted about it until now because, honestly, we’ve been trying to process the fact that it even happened.
When we started JANDO, we simply wanted to make colourful prints that helped people connect with the places they love. Never in a million years did we think that one day it would take us to Paris to print our work in the shadow of one of the world’s most famous landmarks.
Packing up our screens, inks and everything we needed to take JANDO from our studio in Dublin to Paris was a pretty surreal experience. We’ve always loved sharing the process of screen printing and giving people the chance to see first-hand how a print comes to life, so getting to do exactly that at such an incredible private event was something really special.
And then there was the location. Screen printing beneath the Eiffel Tower is definitely not something we ever thought we’d be able to say we’d done!
It was one of those rare moments that made us stop, look around and appreciate just how far our small business has come. Over the years, JANDO has grown from the two of us making prints in Dublin into something that has given us opportunities and experiences we genuinely never could have imagined when we started.
We’re so proud of what we’ve built and hugely grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. Every print purchased, every workshop booked, every recommendation, kind word and share has played a part in getting us there.
We’re back in Dublin now, still trying to process the whole thing and feeling very, very lucky. ☺️🥰
