Karo is a Dublin based self taught ceramic artist and illustrator who uses clay as her canvas. Working with porcelain and stoneware she hand builds and slip casts functional pieces adorned with colourful slips and underglaze illustrations.
Her work features playful imagery animals clouds and whimsical scenes expressed through sketchy lines and vibrant colour. Each piece blends humour emotion and imagination offering functional ceramics with a poetic expressive spirit.
